Book Proposal Guidance

The Institute of Latin American Studies publishes work on the regions of Latin America and the Caribbean. ILAS publications cover a wide geographical and temporal span, publishing in disciplines including history, politics, sociology, anthropology and culture. ILAS also accepts multi and inter-disciplinary publication proposals for consideration.

The Institute welcomes proposals for publications. The Institute publishes single and co-authored publications as well as edited collections and publications based on conference proceedings. Proposed publications are normally peer reviewed. The ILAS series is an imprint of the University of London Press. It provides support for Open Access editions as well as publication in paperback and e-book format. Please see the book proposal guidelines for further information.
